Ian Leighton (Biochemistry, class of 2019), who is an author on the article “Grainyhead-like-2 confers NK-sensitivity through interactions with epigenetic modifiers”, saw his work published in the January 2019 issue of Molecular Immunology.
Ian conducted this research during an internship in Summer 2018 in the laboratory of Steven Frisch, Ph.D., at the WVU Cancer Institute of the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Ian received funding to support his research from W&J’s Merck Internships program.
